IMPHAL, Aug 11: RK Rabika of the MIISIKHOLL has bagged gold in the junior girls Epee event in the 6th Governor’s Cup state level fencing championship being held at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.
In the final match, Rabika defeated her teammate Th Sophia with the score of 15/10. Kh Rangila of SAI-RC and and I Pinky of SDFA took the bronze in the event.
In the senior womens Sabre event, W Reni of SAI(RC) defeated M Jogitabali of MIIS with a score of 15/6 to win the gold. T Imoinu of SDFA and P Nandini of MIIS took the bronze.
In the senior mens Sabre event, N Solik of OLA defeated A Ashanta of SAI-RC by 15-11 score to bag the gold while N Hemanta of MIIS and Y Premjit also of MIIS shared the bronze medals.
In the senior womens Epee event, M Sandhyarani of MPSC defeated RK Rabika of MIIS to bag the gold while I Pinky of SDFA and L Samashakhi of SAI-RC shared the bronze medals.
