IMPHAL, Aug 26: Chandel defeated Churachandpur by a solitary goal in the 9th match of the state level inter school football tournament for U-14 girls organised by YAS, Manipur being held at Khuman Lampak.
In the 10th match of the tournament, Imphal East and Thoubal were locked at a goalless draw.
In another match, KPI defeated Jiribam by a solitary goal while Bishnupur defeated Imphal West by 1-0 goal.
In other matches played today Thoubal beat CCPur by 8-0 while Imphal West trounced KPI by 13-0 goals. The match between Imphal East and Bishnupur held later in the afternoon ended in a tame draw.
