IMPHAL, August 23: 23 Assam Rifles of HQ 10 Sector under the aegis HQ IGAR(South) organised a painting competition for the children of Leishi village on 22 Aug 2010. A total of 60 children comprising of various age groups participated in the event based on the theme ‘GO GREEN’. President ARWWA 23 AR felicitated the winners and lauded the persistent efforts by all in making this event interesting. For all the three best painting and essay writing winners, prizes were awarded alongwith 10 consolation prizes for others.
