IMPHAL, Aug 18: The Assam Rifles unit at Shangshak under aegis of HQ IGAR(S) organised a painting and essay writing competition for the children of Assam Rifles School Shangshak and nearby villages on August 15. A total of 70 students comprising of various age groups participated in the event based on the theme ‘Go Green.’ For all the three best painting and essay writing winners, prizes were awarded along with 10 consolation prizes for others.
