Painting contest

IMPHAL, Aug 13: Empowerment of Community for Human Education and Multitude Advancement (ECHEMA) in a joint effort with Action and Implementation for Development (AID) jointly organized a “Painting Competition” for children between the age 8-11 under the theme ‘Make Us Free’ on August 13 at the Hao Ground, Chingamathak, Imphal (W).
Ng.Nongyai, Former Member of the Human Rights Commission, Manipur was the Chief Guest and Th.Indrakumar, President of CYLC was the President of the event where 54 children participated and their work was judged by a team of experts in the field of Painting and Arts. 

The position holders who were honored with cash prize of Rs.3000, Rs.2000 and Rs.1000 were Nilema Yumkham, Y.Rahul and Ricky Y respectively. Further, cash prize of Rs.500 each were given to the children who got the 4th-10th position as well as consolation prizes to all the participants.

Floral tribute and two minutes condolence was also observed for the martyrs at Pishum Chinga Macha along with a tree plantation campaign by the top 10 position holders was also organized as part of the Patriots Day Function.
