IMPHAL, Aug 19: As a welfare measure for the villagers at Khengjoi Block, Chandel district, solar street lights have been distributed to the villages.
A statement issued by the PRO IGAR (S), said the items were distributed by T Haokip, MLA 41 Chandel A/C, Deleep Singh, IAS DC Chandel and other government officials of Chandel district. AR unit at Moltuk of 26 sector under the aegis HQ IGAR (S) provided the security assistance and administrative support for the entire function.
