IMPHAL, Aug 31: Several civil society organisations have extended support to the moral policing steps being taken up by the Manipuri Students Federation upon state students undergoing studies at various parts of India.

Moral of these students has created negative impact upon mainland Indians and hence to sexual attempt on girls originating from the NE and Manipur who are similar in descent.
The Committee on Reconstruction and Development Village, Leishangthem, Morok Ingkhol Womens Welfare Association, Pangei, Nupi Yaipha Thousil Lup, Haoreibi Makha Leikai, Huidrom Leikai Sangsang Lairembi Club, Yairipok and Bengi Youth Club, Bengi, Yairipok have vowed to extend support to whatever steps taken up by the MSF on the issue of moral policing of students and people living outside the state.

  1. I fully support this initiative taken by MSF. Over the years we have been observing that many of our manipuri girls make friends or boyfriends with outsiders ie mayangs etc. It is good to be friend with anyone but not to involve in immoral activities. Manipur at present is best known and reflected to the entire world only by its womenfolk. lets us feel pride in ourself of being the sons and daughters of our brave womenfolk.

Why should you become easy targets for others when your mother is afraid by the world community for her courage. What is the wrong if our girls remain highly conservative? So it is requested to everyone to inform about any girls from our manipur indulging in bad moral activities.

BE PROUD TO BE MANIPURI GIRL, SHOW THE WORLD THAT U R VERY COURAGEOUS AND THAT U ARE STRICT IN OUR MANIPURI ETHICS.
