Applications are invited for the position of Deputy General Manager Accounts/ Senior Manager Accounts/Senior System Manager/ System Manager/Assistant Manager (Stores & Purchase/Accounts) at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi, a state University recently created by an Act of Delhi Govt. IIIT Delhi is a research-led institute, fashioned after IITs.

Job Description/ Role:
Management of Finance function which includes full financial management including books of accounts, budgets, annual statements, capital budgeting and expenditure etc. He/She will supervise over the funds of the Institute and advise it as regards its financial policies and will perform such other financial functions as may be assigned to her/him by the Board of Governors and as prescribed by the Statutes and/or the Ordinances.
Pay and Other Benefits
Pay Scale: `25200-44500/29920-44500 (Equivalent to PB3 with grade pay of 6600/7600 in Govt.), depending upon the experience. In addition, DA will be applicable as per Central Govt rates. Other benefits like HRA, LTC, etc, which are generally same as in IITs, will also be applicable. Advance increments may be granted to deserving candidate.
The CTC at the initial of the scale will be ` 53,000/61,000 (approx).
Qualifications and Experience
Essential: CA/ICWA/CS/MBA (Finance) with 5/8 years Experience
Or
M.Com with 10/15 Years Experience.
Desirable:
1. Administrative experience in education/research institutes.
2. Proficiency in use of computers and computer based tools for administration of finance.
3. Experience in financial management, project management and coordinating and leading a team.

Nature of Post: 5 years Contract / Deputation, which may be extended based on performance.
Job Description/ Role:
IT infrastructure of the Institute including Design, implementation and management of the computing facilities including application servers like DNS, Web, Mail, Proxy, LDAP, FTP etc., the LAN and Internet link, Windows and Linux labs, High Performance Computing facility, Database and Database Application services like Academic ERP and other related support and security systems, teaching assignment to students.
Pay and Other Benefits
Pay Scale : `26,140-45,100 / 38,000-47,100 (Equivalent to PB3 with grade pay of 6000/8000 in Govt), depending upon the experience. In addition, DA will be applicable as per Central Govt rates. Other benefits like HRA, LTC, etc, which are generally same as in IITs, will also be applicable. Advance increments may be granted to deserving candidate.
The CTC at the initial of the scale will be ` 55,000/75,000 (approx.).
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
For Research Engineer: B.E./B.Tech. with 2 years Experience or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science / Engineering.
For Senior Research Engineer: B.E./B.Tech. with 8 years Experience Or ME /M.Tech with 5 years Experience Or Ph.D in Computer Science / Engineering
Desirable:
Candidates having experience in design and implementation of Campus IT infrastructure would be preferred. Knowledge of Database Administration, Server Administration, Desktop maintenance and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN would be desirable. Experience in handling and initial setting up of networking and other application services including Internet application servers, HPC and ERP based applications would be preferred.

Job Description/ Role:
Stores & Purchase: The candidate will be responsible for complete Stores & purchase activities of the Institute in terms of both fixed assets and consumables in accordance with the code prescribed and establish necessary control systems for procurement and stores functions. He/ she will responsible for complete purchase process starting from procurement till the distribution and maintenance of Stock and Stock Register including Fixed Asset Register.
Accounts: The candidate will be responsible for all voucher entries and payment clearance and records in respect of Project Account / R&D accounts & other accounts of the institute and will be required to operate tally and generate customized reports.
Pay and Other Benefits
Pay Scale (Revised): `17,200- 39,000 (Equivalent to PB-2 with Grade pay of Rs. 4,200 in Govt). In addition, DA will be applicable as per Central Govt rates. Other benefits like HRA, LTC, etc, which are generally same as in IITs, will also be applicable. Advance increments may be granted to deserving candidate.
The CTC at the initial of the scale will be ` 40,000/- (approx.)
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Graduate with at least five years of relevant experience.
Desirable:
Candidates having a postgraduate degree or Diploma in relevant field, Experience in education/research institutes, Proficiency in use of computers and computer based tools and with Good communication skills both oral and written will be preferred.
Age Limit: 35 Years
General Information/Condition/Instructions
1. The appointment will be on Contract / Deputation for a period of up to five years, which can be renewed. The age of retirement will be 60 years.
2. Prescribed qualifications are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him/her to be called for interview.
3. The institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualification and experience.
4. The institute also reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
5. The number of posts may increase or decrease at the time of interview / short listing.
6. The institute reserves the right not to recruit against any or all the posts.
7. Qualifications/experience may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
8. The candidates may be considered for higher/lower grade/ scale depending upon their profile.
9. The selected candidates will be expected to join within three months from the offer of appointment.
10. A person working in Govt. Organization/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs etc. will be required to produce the No Objection Certificate before the interview of OR should send his/ her application Through Proper Channel..

Campus
IIIT Is currently operating from a temporary campus in NSIT campus, Dwarka. In about two years it will move in its own modern campus which will come up in Okhla, Phase III, where 25-acre land has already been allocated to it.
