IMPHAL, Sep 23: The Bharat Sevak Samaj, Manipur State Branch had observed the World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21 at the conference hall of Mass Hotel, Assembly road.
According to a release of the Manipur State Branch, the observation was attended by Rishang Keishing, MP Rajya Sabha, Prof Ksh Bimola Devi, ex dean, co-ordinator Centre for Human Rights and Duties Education Department of Political Science Manipur University and RK Noyonsana Devi, chairperson, Manipur State Social Welfare Advisory Board as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
It has further stated that Dr Khomdon Lisam former project Director, Manipur State Aids Control Society and Consultant NACO and Dr RK Lenin Singh Associate Professor Department of Psychiatrics RIMS Imphal provided suggestions on how to prevent Dementia among the aged people while addressing at the observation.
