IMPHAL September 19 : A six month report of the different activities carried out by AMADA beginning from 20th December 2009 till 20th of June 2010 have been released at the Keisampat Office of the organisation today. The report stated that at least Rs 33,13,73,634 worth of narcotics have been confiscated and disposed off within the 6 months. At least 412 persons dealing in different drugs and alcohol business have been hauled up and reprimanded. AMADA have opened up 123 differnt local councils, 4 district councils .One of the notable activity was the destruction of poppy plants planted in nearly 500 hectres at Ukhrul Mapithel range which amounted upto Rs 33,00,00,000.
