AR reaches out to young students

    IMPHAL, Sept 24: In a bid to reach out to the young toddlers and Primary School students Commander 26 Sector Assam Rifles under HQ IGAR(South) in true spirit of friends of the Manipur interacted with the School children of Systematic Village School (SVIS) centre at village Nungrok, Pallel under REACH-M.
    A warm and floral welcome was given to Commander 26 Sector by the young students and the principal of the School Mr Areng Aimol. During the interaction with the village authorities of the neighboring villages and the School authorities he emphasized on uninterrupted and quality education to the students and offered to extend the maximum help to the School and especially to the students to have a formidable future of the state.
    The school has about 90 students including 8 orphans. Assam Rifles promised all possible help to the school and the managing staff including assistance from Pallel Hospital.
    The Assam Rifles also gave away a handsome monetary incentive apart from giving them CFL bulbs and distributing sweets to the kids.  Two doctors from 42 Assam Rifles with their medical team were also present on the occasion who carried out thorough medical checkup of the students and distributed medicines.
