Lamka, Sep 25: The Committee on Protection of Tribal Areas, Manipur (COPTAM) has temporarily suspended its boycott of government offices, vehicles or any government related activities in Hill Areas with immediate effect from 26 to 27 September following assurance given by T Phungzathang, minister Horti/power/sc&technology to take up issues raised by them at an appropriate level.
Stating this, the COPTAM in a press statement today further said its future course of action will depend on the progress/response of the state government within the stipulated time frame.
