IMPHAL, Sep 12: The Naga People’s Organization (NPO) while sharing the grief and pain of the near and dear ones also expressed sincere condolence to the three departed souls who died of unknown diseases instantly at Tunggam village, Paomata Sub-division on 9th September.
In spite of short notice, unfriendly weather and bad roads, the timely action of the District Medical Team to organize a rapid medical camp for the villagers of Tunggam Village prevented more deaths. Thanks to the red alert action led by CMO, Dr. Loli Mao, Medical Officers and their Team. The NPO along with the apex Tunggam Union would like to extend their deepest appreciations and lauded the noble efforts of the Medical Team, the NPO said in a statement.
Moreover, the Tunggam Union expressed regret over the inability to extend satisfactory reception or services to the Medical Team who arrived timely in the village in response to the prayers of the people. Thanking the sacrifices of the Medical Team, the union appreciated the team for providing medicines, conducting blood test, checkups and providing other medical facilities.
