Photo electoral rolls published

IMPHAL, Sep 10: The final photo electoral rolls w.r.t 01-01-2010 as the qualifying date of all 60 Assembly Constituencies have been published on September 10 by the concerned electoral registration officers (EROs).

A release from the state chief electoral officer stated that the general public, electors and representatives of political parties may inspect and verify the finally published photo electoral rolls in the offices of EROs/AEROs.

Further, one copy each of the final photo electoral rolls and another in PS CD-ROM version in PDF format (in soft copy) of each Assembly constituency will be made available free of cost to the recognized national and state political parties. The hard copy will be supplied by the concerned EROs and the soft copy by the CEO’s office, Lamphel. Any additional copy can be purchased at Rs. 2 per full printed page and Rs. 1 per half printed page or part thereof. Electoral rolls on CD-ROM PS-Version A/C wise are available and interested parties may purchase from CEO’s office, Lamphel at Rs 300 per CD-ROM per AC from September 16 onwards.

However, due to privacy reasons and as per the instruction of Election Commission, the soft copy for distribution to recognized political parties shall be in PDF format without the images of the electors. The final electoral rolls, 2010 of all 60 A/Cs have been uploaded in CEO’s official website www.ceomanipur.nic.in and the same has also been linked up to ECI’s website www.eci.gov.in and is made available for public view by all interested persons, added the release.
