IMPHAL, Sept 26: The underground RPF claimed to have successfully celebrated the 32nd Raising Day of its armed wing PLA on September 25 at various parts of Manipur, its general headquarters, units and department and also at some places abroad.
A statement released by its publicity chief GM Changjou said the main celebration was held at the GHQ in which vice-chairmen of the outfit unfurled outfit’s flag which was followed by paying of floral tributes to martyred PLA cadres who laid down their lives while fighting enemy.
The statement further said a meaningful ceremony of the 32nd Raising Day of PLA was held at a remote village in Churachandpur district which was organised by outfit’s department of minority affairs. The event was marked by patriotic song competition, recitation and a medical camp.
While expressing outfit’s sincere gratitude to the people for rendering their support in successful celebration of the 32nd Raising Day of PLA, the RPF statement also express regret for the sufferings caused to some people while extending support towards successful celebration.
