IMPHAL, Sep 1: A team of CDO/IE arrested one KCP (MC) cadre Kabrabam Shyamkishore alias Ingo Singh, 32 years, son of K.Ibomcha Singh of Lambam Makha Leikai from New Checkon area on August 30. On verification, he disclosed that he joined the banned organization in November 2009 through one S/S District Finance Commander Chingsanglakpa and was presently working under his command.
Further, at about 7:30 am on the same day, another KCP (MC) cadre Ahongsangbam Bikramjit alias Naoba Singh of Lambal Mayai Leikai was arrested from his residence from the information supplied by Kabrabam Shyamkishore and one 9mm pistol loaded with two live rounds in the magazine recovered. One Chinese made hand grenade and three demand letters of the KCP (MC) were also seized from his possession. On verification, he disclosed that he had joined KCP(MC) in August, 2009 through the same S/S District Finance Commander Chingsanglakpa and was presently working under his command. As per the release issued by the IE/Police, both the incumbents were involved in extortion of money from general public, transportation of arms and ammunitions and also provided shelter to the KCP (MC) cadres.
