IMPHAL, Sep 12: A combined team of CDO Thoubal and 39 AR at about 5 an on September 12 arrested an KCP (MC) cadre from Nongren Village under the Lamlai P.S of Imphal East district. As per a press release issued by the Thoubal Police, the cadre had disclosed his details on being apprehended as Sorokhaibam Shyam Singh, 39 years son of Sorokhaibam Ibotombi Singh of Nongren Maning Leikai. He disclosed that he had been a member of the KCP (MC) since 2008 and that he joined KCP (MC) through one Thangjam Dabloo Singh, 35 years, son of Th.Naba Singh of Nongren Maning Leikai. The release further stated that he was working in the Finance Section under Thangjam Dabloo’s command and extorted money from the public.
