IMPHAL, Sept 16: Troops of the 33 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division arrested an Over-Ground-Worker (OGW) of PREPAK on September 16. As per the release from the PIB Defence Wing, the arrested OGW, identified himself as Salam Biramanggol Meitei alias Mayekhongba, S/o Salam Gulamacha Meitei, R/o Khordak Awang Leikai, Thanga, Bishnupur District.
The individual who was reportedly involved in extortion and tax collection has now bee handed over to the Kumbi Police Station.
