IMPHAL, Oct 20: A book on the great freedom fighter from the Kuki community, Chengjapao Doungel who was better known as “Kuki Raja†authored by Thangkhongul Doungel was released today in a function held at Hoi-Inn, Sanjenthong, Imphal.
The book basically dwelled on the role of the great Kuki fighter Chengjapao who fought valiantly against the British in the Anglo-Kuki War, 1917-19.
