COPA appeals for rights for all

    IMPHAL, October 29: The Committee on Concern Organization for People’s Affairs (COPA), Tamenglong District has urged the Government of Manipur to uphold the banners of Human Rights and deals with people from all walks of life including the insurgents democratically as per the law of the land. As per the release issued by the Secretary, the organization has demanded information to the whereabouts of R.K.Sanayaima, Chairman of the UNLF, Manipur.

    While seeking information on his arrest, the COPA has demanded that the details should be made public at the earliest date and has asked the government of Manipur & India to repeal the draconian law Armed Forces Special Power Act.1958 (AFSPA) from Manipur and everywhere else in India.
