IMPHAL, Sep 29: A one-day National Environment Awareness Camp was conducted by Onnuri Mission Society sponsored by the Ministry of Environment of Forest, Government of India on September 25 at the Tarung Liangnam, Imphal. As per the release, Moirangthem Gyannel Singh, Research Scholar (Geo.) NET holder and Haupu Touthang, Lecturer, Moreh College were the resource persons who presented papers on the theme ‘Climate Change’ in which about 100 banana saplings were planted in relation to the program.
Meanwhile, a one-day National Environment Awareness Camp was organized by the Sisan Development Society at the community hall of Thonglang Village, Senapati District on September 26.
The camp had a participation of around 30 youths, a school teacher and Social Worker.
