Guardians call for improvement of education infrastructure

    IMPHAL, October 8: Keeping in mind the various policy programmes taken up by the Central Government to improve education sector, The All Manipur students’ Guardian Association drew the attention of the concerned state authorities to improved the education infrastructure and man power of the state.
    A press conference was held in this connection today at the office of the Association, during which the advisor of the association, N. Tomba Singh, questioned what are the plans taken up by the state Government in order reap maximum benefit of the centrally sponsored programme in the educational sector. Moreover the association also questioned whether the state authorities are making any necessary arrangement for the academic changes as have been announced, that is the matric examination under the CBSE and common examination of the 12 standard.

    The association also urged the state Government to render some help to the private institution with regards to the centrally schemes like the SSA, RMSA etc.
