IMPHAL, Oct 4: The Manipur University Teachers’ Association (MUTA), Manipur University, Canchipur held a condolence meeting today at the sudden demise of Prof. T. Shyamacharan Singh, Department of Anthropology, at 1 pm.
The MUTA remembered the late professor, who passed away on October 2 at his residence in Keishamthong and his long association with higher education in the state of Manipur as a dedicated teacher of university for the last 18 years.
The association deeply condoled his demise and observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
