IMPHAL, Oct 20: State cabinet meeting held yesterday evening chaired by the chief minister O Ibobi Singh at his official bungalow has approved for the contractual engagement of two assistant state Coordinator and one System Analyst for the RTE Cell in the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Manipur as proposed from the State Mission Authority for the successful implementation of the provisions of the Right of Children to free and Compulsory Education Act 2009.
It may be mentioned that, the Right to Children to free and Compulsory Education Act 2009, which came into effect from April 1 this year, envisages formulations of various norms, rules after taking into account the state specific needs and constitution of councils/ Committees/ authorities in a time bound manners.
