IMPHAL, Oct 5: Five Star English High School, Lilong Turrel Ahanbi Dam, Thoubal organised their 8th Teachers’ Day celebration at 10am today.
Md Faisal Maorebi Zila Parishad Lilong , Major Vishal Singh Sanga, 28 AR Lilong post commander was the chief guest and the Principal H Pramod Singh along with the gen secy and the faculty members attended the function.
The students of the school put up an outstanding display of songs and cultural activities. To mark their respect towards their teachers, the students awarded each teacher with a gift. The speakers elaborated on the importance of education with due emphasis on female education and the pivotal role of teachers in moulding the future generation of the country.
