Two found shot and abandoned

IMPHAL, Oct 29: At least two persons were found shot dead by unknown persons in different shoot out by the unidentified armed miscreants at different parts of the state during the last three day.

An unidentified male was found shot death today along Khuga River canal near Saikul Village under Churachandpur Police station.

The corpse was came across by villagers of Saikul while they were on their way for bathing this afternoon around 12:45. The victim was found tied both his hands and legs and sustained bullet injury on his forehead.

The body was retrieved by the concerned police and deposited at RIMS morgue for further verification.

In the meantime at Jiribam a non local who was missing since 26 midnight was found dead suspiciously near Langnom village which is about 13 km far from the Jiribam police station. The victim is identified as Subloo Das 30 year son of Sunil Das of Jjiribam Kalanagar. For further investigation about the killing the Jiribam police has taken up a case and registered an FIR.

On the otherhand a non-local succumbed to his stroke at Checkon crossing this afternoon.

The victim identified as one Mrinal Das, 56, s/o (L) Manoranjan at present staying at Thangal Bazaar, a sales officers of ICICI.

Reports said that the incident occurred while the victim taking a walk with his son identified as Moloy, 24. A sudden stroke (BP) seized the victim however after minutes struggling succumbed to his stroke.
