UKHRUL, Oct 4: Ukhrul is preparing for a grand 3-day seminar cum crusade on “Conflict Resolution”, organised by Peace Forum, Ukhrul during October 7 and 9 at Hunphung Bptist Church, HBC, with a very special resource person, Rev. Patrick M. Brown, of the USA, a hospice chaplain endorsed by the Baptist General Convention of Taxas as a victims assistance chaplain.
Brown also helps small churches put together annual leadership and Sunday school training conferences.
He is committed to a Biblical based ministry that seeks to help people understand and apply the scripture to their personal lives in order to grow in Christ.
Two years ago he received training through “Peacemaker Ministries” that has greatly improved his own methods of dealing with conflict, his bio-data says.
The upcoming seminar would focus mainly on reasoning together differences, misunderstandings, distant relationships, be within families, society, among friends, peoples and resolve the problems in love which is the greatest commandment of God, it said.
The main moderators would be Rev. Candid Sareo, Rev. Dr. Shimreingam L. Shimray and Rev. Zaklei Kaping.
Different Gospel artistes from within in the heart of Ukhrul town would present solos, duets and choir presentations.
The hectic preparations are on to make the occasion a grand success.
