IMPHAL, Oct 22 (NNN): The United Naga Council (UNC) has announced to call a 12-hour `total bandh` in the districts of Chandel, Ukhrul and Tamenglong on October 25 demanding to expedite the ongoing `Indo-Naga peace process`. However, the UNC did not mention about the Senapati district regarding the bandh.
According to the UNC, the bandh will begin from 6 a.m. of the day.
The UNC said that it supports the peace process and appeals both the `NSCN` and the Government of India to maintain sincerity and to adhere the `agreed` ceasefire ground rules to facilitate and to create a conducive atmosphere in the talks.
