IMPHAL, Nov 3: The two semifinals of ‘ALL MANIPUR ASSAM RIFLES FOOTBALL CUP’ were played at the Khuman Lampak stadium today conducted by the organizing committee under aegis of IGAR(South).
The first semifinal was played between the teams of Churanchandpur and Chandel districts in the morning hours. The match resulted in the Chandel team pulling out the better of Churachandpur with the score line being 2-0.In the second semifinal played in the afternoon between the team of Imphal West and Ukhrul districts the Imphal West district team over powered the Ukhrul team by a score line of 3-0.
The football fiesta will continue in the finals in which the Teams of Chandel and Imphal West will battle it out for the prestigious Cup on 07 Nov 2010 at 0115 pm at the Khuman Lampak stadium,Imphal.The organizing committee has extended a warm invitation to one and all to witness the sports extravaganza. The entry to the match is FREE to all.
