In the Semi Final, Singh will fight against Byman Ulf of Sweden. This is the first time he could reach to Semi Final. In last year’s World Muaythai Championship, he lost in his first bout.
Anshuman Behera of Andhra Pradesh also could reach to “Semi Final” today. He won silver medal in the last Asian Muaythai Championship held from June 26 to 30, 2010 at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
It may be mentioned that these two Semi Finalists are part of the Indian Muaythai Team led by Oken Jeet Sandham, president, Muaythai Federation of India (MFI).
