IMPHAL, Nov 5: The Federation of College Teachers’ Association, Manipur (FECTAM), in a press note, has welcomed the decision of the Manipur government to implement the revised UGC Pay Scales to the college teachers and enhance the age of super annuation upto 62 yrs. While thanking the solidarity and patience extended by the government college teachers in the long pursuit, FECTAM has expressed his appreciation of the governments’ implementation of the same. The release added that FECTAM will not accept an deviations in the pay scale other than the revised pay scales of the UGC and they also hope that the government releases all relevant notifications as early as possible in the larger interest of the teachers.
