IMPHAL Nov 7: An Indian made hand grenade was found this morning at around 8:30 am inside the residential compound of Khaidem Samungou, 65, of Kongpal Khaidem Leikai under Imphal East porompat police station.
According to family source, the bomb was found at the rear side of the residential house amongst the standing bamboo plant which acts as fencing of the residential compound. The bomb could have been placed from a long time back.
After being informed about the matter, Porompat police have retrieved the bomb.
