IMPHAL, Nov 23: Press Information Bureau, Imphal is organizing three days Bharat Nirman Campaigns the community halls of Yairipok Bishnunaha in Thoubal district and Bishnupur with an objectives to highlight the flagship programmes taken up by the Central UPF government in the state.
According to release of PIB, Imphal, the campaigns will be started from November 25 this month during which the official concerned in the implementations of various flagship programmes that have been under taken in the state like, National Rural Health Mission, Serva Siksha Abhiyan, Mid Day Meal, Total Sanitation Campaign, Right to Information Act, NREGS, 15 points programme for the Minorities and Rural Drinking Water Supply will deliberate to the villagers about the projects and programmes.
Besides, opening of stalls by the departments and NGOs in order to enable them to highlights their activities, free medical camps, painting competitions for children and performances of cultural programmes will also be other important parts of the campaign, the release added.
The release further mention the Bharat Nirman campaign is widely launched in the other parts of states by the PIB in coordination with sister offices, and in Manipur nine such campaigns have already held in many districts.
The release also mentioned that, a core committee was already formed for the said campaign which includes representatives offices under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, PIB, Directorate of Field Publicity, Song and Drama Division, Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, besides the All India Radio and Doordarsan will assist the proposed campaigns, the release added.
