IMPHAL, December 28: Troops of 4/8 Gorkha Rifles of Logtak Brigade under Red Shield Division, based on reliable information, established a Mobile Vehicle Check Post in Joipur Khunau on December 27, 2010 and arrested one over ground worker of UNLF, namely Saikhom Yaima Singh alias Inao (28), son of Late S Khadhakpa, resident of Heidhopokpi Maning Lekai, Heirok Path, Thoubal district. Individual has revealed that he was active members of UNLF and involved in recruitment, tax collection and extortion for the outfit from Joipur Khunau and nearby areas. The apprehendee has been handed over to Bishnupur Police Station, a release said.
