IMPHAL, December 8: The Army Service Corps celebrated its 250th Corps Day with pomp and show at Military Station, Leimakhong in a function organized by Red Shield ASC Fraternity.
The function was attended by Major General DS Hooda, VSM GOC, Red Shield Division, Shri DS Poonia, IAS, Chief Secretary, Govt of Manipur, Aditya Joshi, Forest Secretary, Govt of Manipur, Padam Shree MC Marykom, five times world Boxing Champion, her coach and Dronacharya awardee Ibomcha Singh and Director SAI, Manipur alongwith a large number of Army Officers and their families.
This function also gave a glimpse of rich heritage of Army Service Corps through a documentary, painting and a number of cultural programmes which was enjoyed and appreciated by the galaxy of guests present on the occasion.
