IMPHAL, Dec 24: The Zeliangrong Union, Imphal Zone, has strongly condemned the killing of a youth by some unidentified miscreants at Laining Khul (Khundi) Kabui, village on December 22 evening.
According to a release, the miscreants brought the person in the area and shot dead there without the knowledge of the villagers. The senseless action of the miscreants has created fear psychosis in the minds of people, and therefore the concerned organization should clarify on the incident as to why they have chosen the place for such heinous act and demanded apology from th concerned for this act at the earliest.
The release further mentioned that failing to clarify regarding the incident will consider that the act of killing is intentional and well orchestrated to dilute the peaceful atmosphere of the areas and to create misunderstanding amongst the various communities living there.
It also mentioned that, such similar incident has happenned in the areas before for which the people of the village had denounced such action of the miscreants. It also appealed that any organization should not commit such act in the village area in future and killing should be stopped at once considering the people’s right to live.
