IMPHAL, Dec 10: The Kuki Revolutionary Army (U), in a statement, has announced that general secretary of the outfit W Lonkon has retired due to his worsening health conditions and his retirement has also been approved by the outfit’s central committee.
The KRA(U) also announced that Jamthang Haokip will now hold the post vacated by Lonkon. It also said the president of the central committee of the outfit will Solomon instead of David Chongloi and the finance secretary will be Johnson while Brandon will take charge of deputy finance secretary.
It also said Wlliam will now hold the organisation secretary while Hitler will be army chief and project officer will be Peter. Robert will be Imphal West commander while Rocky will be commander for Imphal East and Thomson as Thoubal district commander, Thomas as Bishnupur DC and Shyamsunder as Nagaland DC and Rohit Barua as Assam DC.
