Mantak health centre opened

IMPHAL, Dec 6:  State Health and Family Welfare minister Ph Parijat has inaugurated a newly constructed Primary Health Centre at Mantak village under Wabagai Assembly Constituency.
The state health and family welfare minister while inaugurating the said PHC mentioned that with the complete implementation of infrastructures at the health centre the health care facilities to more than 153 household comprising of about 1000 populations in and around this PHC can be ensured immediately and appealed to the general public of the area to use the health care facilities which will be available at the newly inaugurated health care centre and to extend full co-operations to the staffs and doctors deputed to the newly opened PHC.
It may be mentioned that the newly inaugurated PHC at Mantak village will be having one staff nurse, one Pharmacist, one Malaria worker and two grade-IV staffs and the very inaugurated PHC building was constructed under the fund of National Rural Health Mission with an estimated cost of Rs. 20 lakh.
On the other hand the inaugural function this morning was jointly attended by local MLA of Wabagai A/C Dr U Devendra Singh, and additional director Planning/ Finance Health Services Dr. L Surchandra Singh as guest of honour and president of the inaugural function and they have delivered their speech on the need of community participations in every aspects of the development activities taken up by the state government so as to achieve the true goals of schemes and projects undertaking in the state.
