IMPHAL Dec 9: A three day seminar on “ Monsang Renaissance –Towards a better tomorrow†will be held at New Delhi from 14 to 16 December. The seminar is organized by the Monsang Students’ Union Delhi (MSUD) and Mongsang Elders under the sponsorship of sirti Upa Ruh ( Mongsang Tribe Union), stated secretary W. Beningpha of the union.
The release states that the main purpose of the seminar is the assembly of all the concerned resource persons and intellectuals of the Mongsang /sirti society with foresight for discussions and deliberations on issues concerning the welfare of the community.
The subject matters of the seminar are mainly focused on culture,religion,education,gender relations ,self empowerment etc. The leaders of the community will take part in the historic seminar and leave for new Delhi next week.
