IMPHAL, Dec 26: The RPF has clarified the person arrested by Imphal West Police Commando from Khurai Thangjam Leikai , namely Yaithengbam Inao alias Yaifaba, 35, son of Yaima, is not related to the outfit nor to its armed wing PLA.
A statement said that the arrested person Inao has never worked for the outfit and the organizations, namely Imphal East United Club Organization (IEUCO), Social United Club Organization (SUCO), North Imphal United Club and Meira Paibi Organization (NIUCACO), North East United Club Organization (NEUCO), South East United Club Organization (SEUCO) and Poirei Apunba Leimarel Ima Meira Paibi (PALEM) which have been reported as frontal organizations of the RPF/PLA are also not related with the outfit.
The statement of the SP was baseless and meant to tarnish the image of the party and to exploit the innocent people and their social organizations, the statement added.
