IMPHAL, Dec 14: Hoirose Sitlhou, who was crowned Orange Queen 2010, was felicitated today at Motbung Grace Mansion by the District Council of Kangpokpi in a felicitation function held for her.
Apart from MDC of the Kanpokpi, the programme was attended by MDCs of the Tamenglong ADC, friends and family of the reigning Orange Queen.
Soihem Haomei, ADC chairman Tamenglong, ADC chairman Kangpokpi, Sh. Seipu were among the dignitaries attending the programme.
While talking to media persons in an interview, Hoirose Sitlhou, revealed that she desire to walk for women empowerment especially for widows living with HIV/AIDS who does not have any economic support.
Hoirose graduated from Manipur Unversity. Now she is planning to pursue her career as a interior designer and her aim is to become a successful interior designer.
She further stated that she is looking forward to compete in higher level including the Miss North East.
