IMPHAL Dec 7: Phoijing Awang Youth Club in a press statement condemned the lop sided attitude of the State Government in not taking up road repairs along the national highway 150 stretch from Utlou to Phoijing . Secretary of the club Singhajit Naosekpam states that the road stretch has remained in a pathetic condition for quite some time and such conditions have caused numerous road accidents , some which were fatal to the motorists.
The statement appealed to the concerned department to take up necessary repairs within December 10 failing which the particular stretch will be shut to all forms of traffic.
