IMPHAL, Dec 14: The 31st State Level Science Exhibition for Children, 2010-11 will be held from December 15 to 18 with the theme “Science and technology for challenges in lifeâ€. The exhibition is to be jointly organized by the National Centre for Educational and Research Training and the state education department.
Informing this in a press meet today, L Viramani Singh, Science Promotion Officer, Directorate of Education(S) said the Science Exhibition will be starting tomorrow at the premise of Bengali High School, Babupara.
He further said altogether 75 students from Class IX to XII of different eduational institutions of the state will be taking part at the state level science exhibition.
Altogether 20 students will be selected from the state level exhibition for the national level competition. The exhibition will include science drama, science magic and science planetarium displays, he said.
The state education minister, L Jayentakumar will grace the inaugural function as chief guest.
