Vehicle hijacked

IMPHAL, Dec 23: Some unidentified persons have hijacked a two-wheeler vehicle (Honda Activa) from a percussionist on December 8 from Kaleikhong, Thoubal district while returning from a marriage ceremony.
Speaking to media-persons today at Manipur Press Club, the percussionist Moirangthem Deva, 27, son of Gouramohon, of Khangabok Part-III Khunou Leikai, stated that his vehicle Honda Activa bearing registration number MN-06/5 8436 (black colour) under the ownership of L. Jarma Singh was hijacked by some unknown persons at Kaleikhong on his way from Langol to his home after attending a marriage ceremony. The unidentified persons asked him to surrender his vehicle saying that they would return him the vehicle exactly after 10 days, but till now he has not received the vehicle, he said.
He decried the act of hijacking vehicle from a person after attending some ceremony is unlikely of any revolutionary party and demanded whosoever to handover the vehicle as soon as possible.
Deva has also lodged a verbal complaint to Thoubal Police urging them to trace out his hijacked vehicle and handover the same to him at the earliest.
He has also noted down the registration number, MN-04 9843, of a Pulsar motorcycle (red colour) allegedly used by the hijackers.
