IMPHAL, Jan 11: The Field Exhibition Office, Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Imphal is organizing a 5 days photo exhibition on the theme Development Initiatives in North East at Synod Hall, I.B Road, Churachandpur district from January 18 to 29.
The Exhibition is going to be inaugurated by Langkhanpau Guite, MDC, and Chairman ADC Churachandpur.
The aim of the exhibition is to disseminate information about the pace of various developmental projects initiated by the GOI in the whole of North Eastern Region including Sikkim.
Altogether about 150 photographs depicting the life, culture and development projects that have taken place in the 8 states will be displayed during the exhibition. In special focus of Churachandpur, about 30 photographs depicting MGNREGS, NRHM, SSA of the district will be put up as part of the exhibition.
In this connection the field exhibition office, DAVP, Imphal invites everyone to witness the exhibition so as to have better understanding of the various developmental schemes taken up by the GOI.
