IMHAL, Jan 29: The Inspector General of Police, Manipur and Nagaland Sector, CRFP, Langjing, Imphal has clarified that, the news published in some local dailies under the heading “Transporters to Stop Plying on NH-39†is totally baseless.
The official released issued by the MS Raghava DIG (Adm/Ops) M&N, CRPF, Imphal mentioned that, the news Published is totally baseless as the truck drivers and operators are plying their vehicles without an fear or fear or threat from any insurgent outfit under the CRPF protection.
It is also mentioned that, even today a special convoy consisting of 191 vehicles is plying on National Highway-39. It is further, to inform that CRPF is committed to provide foolproof security to the truck and the truck drivers carrying food grains, POL items, medicines and other essential commodities to the state through NH-39 as also at the same time of loading of trucks and during their stay in the FCI/IOC campus at outside state the statement added.
