    IMPHAL Jan 12:  Insurgent outfit KCP in a press statement by its president Ningamba Meitei has appealed to all like minded organisations that it is time to be unified for the welfare of the public.
    The release further applauds the stance taken by KCP (Maoist) in regard to the arrest of AMWJU vice president A. Mubi and the co operation extended between the outfits.
    Decrying the underhanded tactics utilised by the centre regarding the arrest of UNLF chairman Sanayaima, it further mentioned that the same has been implemented by state forces as two cadres S Bhorot @Z2@ Loiyumba of Wangjing and E Sanatomba @ Sanjoy of Khangabok part 3 have been arrested by Imphal East police commandos along with Rs 16 lacs in cash, one laptop and two 9 mm pistols, their whereabouts have been untraced till now and the police have not claimed the arrest which is a direct violation of human rights and international law, the release said. The actions perpetrated by the security forces are unbecoming of law keepers and it must be remembered that we are all part of the same society with each of us having our own ideals.
    It has further claimed a hand in the incident which took place at the residence of one Gopal of Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai and the action was carried out against the individual for doing anti party activities. The release has further intimated Gopal and Dr. Lokendro of Chingmeirong to contact the outfit at the earliest.
