KYKL cadre, Myanmar nationals held by AR

IMPHAL Jan 7: Troops of the 31 Assam Rifles arrested a KYKL cadre from Moreh Gate No.2, in an operations around 5 pm yesterday.
A  press release by PRO (IGAR) stated that the apprehended man was identified as Takhellambam Chalamba Singh,25 ,s/o Late Takhellambam Kumar Singh of Chingdong Leikai, Canang Veng, Ward No.7,Moreh. The cadre has been handed over to Imphal West Police station.
In yet another incident, troops of 29 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector  launched  an  operation along NH – 39 and apprehended seven Myanmarese Nationals from a Tata Sumo bearing registration  No. MZ 01C 3962 traveling without proper documents at Tengnoupal at around 2 pm on 6 Jan.The apprehendees were  identified as Mahmud Ahut Taleb,20,s/o Mahmud Mutu,Zafar Ahamed,30,s/o Mula Abdul Karim,Ramdhan Aki,18 ,s/o Zahir Ahmad,Rofique Amin,18 ,s/o Sultan Ahmad, Isub Ali,19 ,s/o Usna Mahmad,Abu Hassan,20,s/o Abdul Boshor and Amin,30,s/o Abu Male. The individuals are residents of Kyapto,Myanmar, and have been handed over to  Tegnoupal Police station,stated the release.             
Further , troops of 29 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector provided assistance to accident victims today. The incident occurred at around 7.45 am, when a Shaktiman vehicle collided with a bike near Sita track junction and seriously injured  2 boys of Sita village who were on the bike.
On receipt of information about the incident, troops of Assam Rifles rushed to the accident site and immediately evacuated the accident victims to 29 Assam Rifles unit hospital.
