The NPO and SDWA lauds the efforts of the fire-fighters, police personnel who inspite of the biting cold weather, averted more damage with their intervention.
The joint statement further mentioned that, Senapati District a hugely populated District is managed by just 1(one) mini fire engine. Various Social organizations on many instances had  demanded more fire engines with larger capacities but till date the State Government and the District Administration has remained silent over the grave issue. The damages of the fire incident would have been minimized if more fire engines were based at the Senapati District H/Q, but the incident was assisted and managed personally by the Brigadier/officers, local police and general public on the spot the statement added.
