S Kumar appeals to nursing students and DESAM

IMPHAL Jan 29: Following the ban imposed by students’ organization DESAM against S Kumar Nursing Institute, the managing director of the institute Y Surjitkumar talking to media persons today stated that there has been some hiccups during the conduct of exams for the nursing courses.
He further appealed the parents and students including DESAM to reconsider the decisions taken in regard to the institute and further that he will arrange for the exams to take place.
Surjitkumar also confessed that his uncle president of UCM Yumnamcha Dilipkumar has been wrongly implicated into the matter as he was approached by Surjitkumar himself to facilitate the functioning’s of the institute and for the smooth conduct of exams only on a relationship basis ,and not as a competent authority. The sole answerable person is Surjitkumar himself only, he said.
Further, he stated that the S Kumar ACS Hospital is affiliated to the nursing council of Rajasthan and has been awarded due recognition while S Kumar institute of Paramedical is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. He stated that the exams will be held under Ramkrishna Institute of Human Resource Development, Kolkota. He has appealed the students to submit their relevant documents so that the exams can be held by February 15 so that their careers are not affected.
